Paper Scraps

so the past year(ish) has been a lot of school (probably more than necessary) and a certain amount of traveling.

Of course, with the traveling comes a certain amount of reminiscing - which lead me to all my long forgotten accounts and half started stories.

With this unearthing I'm attempting to resurrect Music and Motorcyles. It's technically Twilight oriented - but its focused on the wolves. See what you think.

Well the first attempt on lj, and in a long time...

Based on the Twilight series, and a very short snippit, either part of the first chapter of a longer work, or the beginning of a full piece.

The main character is mine but everything is based off of Stephenie Meyers' series, so she gets all the credit.

school and other matters have kept me quite busy but I'm trying to get back into a writing swing.

Ok, I have a task. and considering there are quite a couple of you who are amazing writers I figured I'd get your input. And i wouldnt be doing this if i hadn't racked my brains for a week and a half without anything worth writing more that 10 words on.

I am supposed to do a speech.. it can be about anything, addressing any type of audience, but it must be appropriate for a semi conservative school setting...  if you have any brilliant ideas i would be indebted to you eternally! I was considering looking at the controversy of having a female president in the US.

Also. I have to write a 700 word essay about whats on the mind of youth today... comments/opinions would be appreciated.

Ok, just thought I'd introduce myself. Chimaera, chia for short. Im the average teenager, except for the fact that I read like crazy. I've read everything from Pride and Prejudice to Harry Potter, and I havent stopped yet. I also like writing and drawing when I get the chance, even though I am not very skilled at either. The only thing that takes up more time than school in my life at the moment would be music. I listen to it constantly, am part of a wind ensemble at school and I sing twice a week.
Thats all for now I think. Hopefully my fan-fic will be up soon.
